'Murica Monday: AMC Pacer

The first time I ever saw an AMC Pacer was in Wayne’s World, many many moons ago. To me it was an odd looking car, almost spaceship-like. The next time I saw this car again was maybe in the animated movie, Cars (and I do have the toy version of Tubbs Pacer). So as you can see, my exposure to this car has been quite non-conventional.

But now this casting I have today is something I picked up a few week’s back during some impulsive purchases (about a dozen and a half or so Made in Japan Tomicas). And whilst not my favourite from the lot, it certainly is quite unique.

It is from the blue/white box F-series and is supposedly 1/64 scale, and when compared to other Tomicas, it fits right in. The colour combination is a tad different but I guess yellow was a popular colour from that era.

Anyway, decided to set up a little my parking lot again along with the few figurines from various TLVs I have. I just have to find a nice background and then I will be happy with the setup. Until then, here are some test shots.
