So I went on my first hunt today on my lunch break. Made a quick trip to the Target down the street and picked up a few new additions, including my very first Treasure Hunt! I'm fairly new to the collecting world even though I've been collecting Hot Wheels since birth. I had never even heard about Treausre Hunts until I came to this sight a few weeks ago, saw some posts, and read the great DieCast 101 articles by Jeff Simmons. So without further ado, my mini-HAWL from Target:
Bam, there's the little flame logo right there on the side underneath where it says ROCKETFIRE. I dug through piles and racks trying to find the Super Treasure Hunt versions of the Toyota AE-86 Corolla and the RRRoadster since they had tons of the standard version, but alas, no dice. I wasn't expecting to find any Super T-Hunts on my first outing, let alone a regular T-Hunt, so I'm feeling pretty lucky!
