Inspired by Eddie's NASCAR pics, I decided I'd have to show you guys one of my larger scale NASCAR cars (don't call them NASCARs!).
This car is a very special one to me. This is Kyle Petty's 1992 No.42 Mellow Yellow Pontiac Grand Prix from the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. It came in it's own display case with a little pit stop diorama to go along with it. My grandfather gave it to me as a small child and needless to say, I wanted to play with it all and was a little rough with it. So a few of the signs broke, the gas can isn't actually attached to the gas man, and I think one guy might be missing a hand. Anywho, Kyle Petty ended up coming to the Piggly Wiggly by our hours with his real car for some sort of sponsor thing with Mellow Yellow, so my mom took me to go meet him and I got him to autograph my car! My grandfather passed away on my 8th birthday so this car will always be very special to me.
