I was browsing the HWC website this morning and came accross this cool write-up about the history of HW and the Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am. Being a big Trans Am guy thanks to my dad, I thought it was really cool to see just how connected the car is to Hot Wheels. I never knew they went that far back, and even were released simultaneously. Now that makes me want to go out a find one of the Firebirds from the original lineup just sitting on a shelf in some old antique store. It will be the ultimate hunt! Any other Firebird / Trans Am guys out there?
