Catching Up On HAWLs And HWEPs

Things have been really busy here at work lately, so I haven’t been able to post with the frequency that I used to in regards to HAWLs and HWEPs, unless I can snap a few quick pics on my phone. But, I owe you guys lots of pictures, so brace yourselves, hahaha.

Alright, going way back here, I have an HWEp from Stingray Jake. I traded him a F&F Corvette Grandsport, two Lambos, and two Astons in return for the two Star Wars Real Riders that I couldn’t find anywehre (and still haven’t, lol).

Next up was part one of my two-part HWEP with Eddie. First was just a single car deal. I traded him a BTTF Hover Mode DeLorean for a TH Subaru Impreza wagon.

A week or two later, I came home from work to find my daughter playing with a MBX Polizei BMW M5. Apparently my mom had gone by the Dollar Tree which had just restocked everything and picked up a few toys for my daughter. So of course, I had to go investigate the new stock myself and picked up this lot, including two Fast Felion TH’s! The Mustang, Camaro, and one Fast Felion are going in to my collection and the rest are in the trade pile.

The next day, I went by Target and picked up a few things there as well. I’ve been eyeing the Star Wars fantasy cars so I picked up Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren, along with the ‘56 Flashrider Real Riders because it has an opening hood. And it looks like the bed cover is supposed to do something to, but I can’t figure out what. Anyone know?

After getting home from that shopping trip, there was another package waiting for me. Part two from Eddie! This time, I sent him the elusive Real Riders BMW 2002 and Chevy Silverado. In return, he sent me a LaFerrari (which I used for my quick paint pen custom), the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine (because I’ve always been a meddling kid), a blue SRT Viper, the gold Miura, and the white Mercedes E class. And he threw in a PT Cruiser as a RAOK, lol. That one I’m thinking about chopping in to a rat-rod style ute! (I mean, hey, somone’s gotta give Tinfoil a little competition there, lol). The Mercedes is also gonna get cracked open for a restoration / custom.

Also, if you look closely, you’ll notice the Viper was an error. It has a drip / streak of white paint on the front fender. We then later found out after I did my custom work that the LaFerrari was also an error as it did not have any headlight tampos or Ferrari logo on the nose.

And we jump forward to Saturday, after giving him the wrong address and waiting ages for the post office to get it forwarded, my HWEP from R32! I traded him a Real Riders BMW 2002 and an MBX Porsche Cayman and he sent me his spare Super Treasure Hunt Supra as well as the Tesla Model S that I couldn’t ever find. Funny story too. The day after R32 sent out the package, I went to TRU and found a STH Supra as well... So, that means I have one for trade!

And then finally, my HAWL from yesterday. I went to Walmart and found my first bin of Q case stuff and grabbed everything I wanted there except for the Polizia Fiat 500, which they had none of. I was also hoping to find the James Bond series, but there were non on the pegs and no bin for them. So, I started digging around through the old N case bin and right there mixed in to the top layer, was the Mustang Mach 1 from the James Bond series. I have no idea how it got there as there are no other traces of the the Bond cars anywhere else in the store... weird. Also, I found all those Toyota trucks, and not single Super. Anyone know what the ratio is supposed to be on those?

So that’s it for now. But, it’s lunch time, so I’m off to the other Walmart in search of James Bond! Until next time!
