Welcome to another Let's Talk.

Today's topic is a modern HW classic, Cat-A-Pult.

Introduced in 1998, Cat-A-Pult may be inspired by the Jaguar D-Type, although the D-Type was also introduced into the HW lineup the same year (discontinued in 2003).

Cat-A-Pult existed in the Hot Wheels lineup from 1998 until 2004, when it was part of that year's Final Run Series.

In that time, the casting has been in some part of the HW lineup each year, except for 2001-02.

An excellent and exciting casting, it was a great car on track sets.

Here's some examples of other versions of this casting:

I had the original 1998 version as a kid. Another one of my all time favorites.

Feel free to share and discuss this casting below.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's Let's Talk, where the topic will be one of my favorite HW truck castings of all time, the Dodge Power Wagon concept.
