Oddest Acquisition

What’s the oddest way you acquired a diecast vehicle?

Mine was from I 10 or so. I received a recently released toy from the Battlestar Gallactica series, a Cyclon Raider, for Christmas. It fired little red rockets. Fun toy.

Well, by mid-spring, a couple of kids against better judgement- and taste- had decided to try eating those little red pellets and tried shooting each other in the face. Go figure, right.

Well, a couple of incidents and a recall later, if you sent in your little red rockets, you could receive a nice new Hot Wheels vehicle. Reminiscent of speed racer, its a fun design.
