I have had this Agera R in the works for a long time. I painted it white and was going to do black and light blue accents, but it got sloppy. So I started again.
I did my own thing with the design this time instead of trying to copy a real car. I had fun with it and it’s had its challenges, but I’m pretty pleased with the result.
Notice the “Agera R” script on the sides? Hand-painted details everywhere, not decals.
As I said it’s been a long project. When I looked at these photos I realized I’d forgotten to paint the mirrors silver! That’s done now, and I hope it’ll stick on top of that thick clear coat.
Of course, what would be the point of customizing it if I didn’t paint the interior to match? Sadly, it’s almost completely invisible once the car is assembled.
Are you familiar with Koenigsegg’s interiors? I specifically remember learning about that cool circle of buttons in the center of the dash. I’m also pretty happy with how well I got the yellow to lay. I find my yellow, orange, and silver paints are tricky to apply and keep where you want them. Also, custom wheel color detailing as is often found on this car.
