How about a wallpaper for your phone? This should do nicely.
These photos should give you an overall sense of scale. Also, you can see how I used paint to get the slightly-worn look on the racetrack pavement.
I started by sanding down the sandpaper to remove all the grit from it. I found that it was quickly scratching up the wheels of any vehicle driven on it.
Then I painted some dark gray, some lighter gray, then some black streaks on top for tire marks, especially in the corners. All with lots of variation in value of course.
