Saw this cartoon-like Renault 4CV from Eligor on the bay and bought it without knowing anything about the race for which it’s decorated.
The Rallye Mediteranee first ran in 1950; a 10,000 mile “raid” the length of Africa. The race was held for about the next ten years but finally succumbed to the precarious political situations gripping the continent.
