More progress on the diorama. Some basic grass, the road markings are roughed in, and the track surface is painted.
Still need to make and install trees, guard rails and the catch fencing. Although I’m realizing now that planning out the best photo sight lines will really determine where the trees and fencing will go so they don’t block the photographer!

The other surprise with this diorama is that the sheer size of it makes getting through doorways an awkward proposition at best. And please don’t remind me that I need a place to store it!
