Review of Winross FedEx Truck

I know it has bee a couple weeks but I finally got around to taking some better pictures of the Winross 1:64 scale truck. For the quick back story at my job we ship quite a bit of freight with FedEx and just recently they have started using CNG(compressed natural gas) to fuel their trucks. The OKC service center is the first one to convert. They had a ribbon cutting ceremony and I got invited to it and this was in the goody bag they were handing out to everybody.

Here it is displayed with some of my other trucks.

Here are some shots of the details on the tractor. I had heard that Winross models could be cheap but this one is very detailed but a little fragile. I have managed to break the mudflap off of the drivers side.

Here is a shot showing the hood open and the airlines/electrical hook up for the trailer. I couldn’t get a shot of it but each trailer has spots to hook up the airlines/electrical up.

As you can see the rearview mirrors look very delicate but the doors actually open and has a fairly detailed interior.

Here a couple of shots of the tractor and one trailer. About the trailers they are heavy and have actual roll up doors sorry the pictures of the doors didn’t turn out.

Ok but it is a set and has a dolly to hook up a second pup, even the dolly is diecast and pretty hefty.

I apologize for some of the pictures Ansel Adams I am not. But this is a very cool model and I will definitely start looking to add some more of these branded trucks to my collection especially if they are all this detailed.
