Hey guys, whats up. Here i am gonna show you some 101 Painting Techniques =)
No.1: Different Bases
You can try or make different shades of color you want.
A. Primered Base (Grey or white)
*To get a candy paint, you can use Spectra paints. Or clear paints. Like Honda red Etc., in a white base.
*To get a darker shade* You can try Spectra Paints into a grey primer.
Mostly this is a experimentive paint. Like mixing paints or others. I use a spray paint. Cant mix them together..
Picture Above with a Primer Grey (1st coat) then Honda red (2nd coat)
2.Without Bases (This is fun)
*No base or directly metal painted spectra colors = Quite Spectra but its not. Example below.
Fairlady Z Painted Yamaha Green. No base not even polished.
*Polished base with metal polisher = Spectra Colors. Like Shining shimmering colors
Polished base. You can paint any color you want. And try experimenting.
3. different Colors at a time
Honda red, Yamaha Green, Honda blue, Chrome.
1st coat (Chrome) (Thin also) 2nd coat (All colors you want) = Chameleon paint like this one:
You can even replicate a $Th Color!
What about. Try black base and spectra colors? Or yellow base and spectra colors, you can us eyour imagination! Eventually it can turn out good either bad.
So thats it for this post guys. Lets go practice some color techinuqes! :) @darvz_customs
