I had an obsession with this car as a child.
I have the white Speed Machines version unopened also, but how did this mainline stance end up so much better than the premium version (even though there is a little reflection off the front tire in this pic)? The axles on the Speed Machines version literally pivot a good 10° from the mid line of the car, front and rear both. The older one is nice and tight. Its almost like the mold was at end of life and they ran it anyways. Lame...
Sorry for the rant. I’m in manufacturing and this is just poor quality control.
