Did someone say malaise?

I can’t help but think of the last of the huge V8/rwd fullsize sedans when I hear the word ‘malaise’.

My first example is the 1976 Dodge Monaco Brougham Sedan (made by Greenlight in their Country Roads series). The power to engine size ratio is absolutely abysmal: the 6.6L V8 produced a measly 175 BHP.

Another great example is the 1976 Cadillac Coupe deVille: the monstrous 8.2L (!!!) V8 produced 190 BHP, hardly enough for a 5200 lb car.
