I have a weak spot for the smaller scales... I find incredible how Herpa, Wiking and Schuco can cram so much detail in some 1/87 models, but those 1/144 models are just crazy!!! They're almost breaking the quantum limit of smallness!!!

Those are in the N-gauge, or 1/144 scale, a popular railway modelling scale. This other pic gives a better idea of the size:
