[iHWEP]x2!!! Double iHWEP post!

That's right, I received two packages at the same day, from Carnage717 and Boxerfanatic!!! I couldn't contain my excitement, so the first thing I did when I got home was to viciously open the packages like a child who sees a wrapped bike underneath the christmas tree (well, when I was a kid a bike was the greatest gift ever...)

So, here comes the pictures!!

Let's start with the models Boxerfanatic had sent me

This ERTL/Johnny Lightning Camaro casting is astonishing! The amount of detail is great!! I have the feeling the hood opens, because it look like a separate piece, but it seems to be a bit stuck. I don't want to force the opening and break it...

My first Tomicas! I can finally understand the hype about them, they're awesome!! Too bad we can't find them in brazilian stores (and good for you to offer me in a trade!). I love ambulances and rescue vehicles, so I loved that ambulance. The opening back door is a nice plus, with some details inside. But the part of me who wanted to be a marine biologist instead of an astrophysicist loves that shark truck. The whale shark inside the tank in so detailed! Great model!

I have this Ranchero in orange, which was release in the mainline. However this purple/blue is exclusive to a 10 pack (if I recall correctly - edit: is a 3 pack) which I didn't found here! I'll take better pictures with a better light in the future, but you can see the paintjob in this model is very cool.

Ah... pickups. I have a sweet spot for pickup models (as well many other models, by the way...). The amount of detail in this ERTL casting is super, and I really liked the fact you can open the "trunk" to load 1/64 stuff in there!

Just AutoWorld. I need to say more? I've been following their story since the beginning, and as a perfectionist, I really liked their premise of making models perfect to the scale. This wagon was posted many other times here, but I don't remember if anyone posted this in red color. What a great color combination... And the last photo was proposital just to show my mug, hahaha! We sold them to earn money to our graduation ceremony yesteryear, and everyone loved it!

A very nice modern casting, which I found last week but didn't bought because it was already coming, haha. When I have more space to my models, this will be another member of my police fleet ;)

Now, to Carnage717's models. Pretty good stuff coming also!

I had to post it first. Carnage said he made a special surprise custom to me, and only said that it was a Lesney casting. All I have to say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, this custom is completely radical! I mean, I really like service vehicles, I like the Ford Galaxie because it was only of the few "muscle" cars sold here, I love Lesney castings (well, I like old stuff in general) and I like detailed models. I didn't noticed it had a minuscule fireman at the steering wheel until I took the picture and zoomed in. What a great touch!

Ambulance-a-palooza! I'm not a hypochondriac, but I like ambulances! Here are a Majorette, a Matchbox and a Hot Wheels casting. The Matchbox even have working suspension!

This brings me so much memories, because I had one of those before I started collecting, and when I didn't cared about the models. I opened a huge smile when I opened that little brown door and found the two horses inside. It is now again one of my favorite models!

Another sweet spot of mine are airport vehicles. This model looks like it battled a lot of fires, and lived a lot of adventures! I can only imagine what sorts of perils it went through!

Two very nice additions which I'll open when I buy more display cases, haha. The Classic Batmobile is awesome, with the details, way better than the mainline model. And this orange Bel Air will fit well with my other Bel Airs ;)

And finally, the cherry of the cake (this expression exists in english? It is quite common in portuguese to designate something truly special and important...). This was one of my holy grails and, to be frankly, I preffer it (and all the others!) like this instead of a mint model, because someone played with them, someone dreamed with them, someone smiled with them. And my father had a Greyhound like this, so this model feels special to me.
