A DLM a day... [Grand Finale]

... keeps the cars away! The series finale is a bit different. This is the most unique item on my collection, and I have not really DLM’d it. It was DLM’d by 5 minutes back in 2010 and it quickly came back to it’s card. Curious to find what is it? After the jump!

In 2010 we had the second (and last) official Brazilian Hot Wheels Convention. Among all the good things there, Phil Rhielman himself was present, to talk a bit of how is to work at Mattel and to autograph things for collectors. I think you know where this is going. I had a photo with Phil, but after a HDD disaster (I could swear I had a backup) I lost it. So, after waiting a bit on the line, I shown this Customized VW Drag Truck to Phil and asked him if he could autograph it for me. He smiled, got the model and signed it! So I have a somewhat common orange Drag Truck autographed by Phil Rhielman. This is the best piece of my collection, and everytime I look at it I remember all the good thing about going to Porto Alegre with my father to the official convention.

After the photoshooting, the Drag Truck was recarded, and I put the card back into the card protector. I hope you liked this series, and enjoyed the DLMs and the photos!
