Here, in Brazil, due to the tremendous success of DeAgostini’s Brazilian car collection, some other publishers followed their idea. One of them, though, surpassed DeAgostini in terms of quality. This is Salvat’s Chevrolet Collection.
This 1971 Chevrolet Opala Gran Luxo is simply perfect. The colors are spot on, and the bright orange body with white vinyl roof is period correct.
The Gran Luxo was the antithesis of the more known Opala SS. Instead of just pure power, this one was built for cruising in comfort and style.
Good thing Chevrolet did this with the coupé version! For me it looks way better than the four doors :D
So, enjoy the photoshoot!!
Also, I tried my best to create a name for this post by following the rules, but I could’t link either Chevrolet, neiter Opala, coupé or anything to Saturday :(
