Last November 13th, Ms. Petrolhead and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we exchanged gifts, and I got the absolutely superb White Tank Truck, from High Test Oil Can Showcase series. This was the last of 4 models I had to get to complete the series, and now it’s complete!
The White Tank Truck is the humongous truck to the left. It’s easily the largest Hot Wheels I’ve ever seen, larger than some of my Brazilian 1/43s, like the Fiat 147! If this is true to 1/64 scale, this thing is a behemoth!
Here they are, on their oil cans. I have absolutely no idea why the ‘56 Ford Pickup can is a bit different from the others. While the “tire” is a simple piece of paper on the rest, on the first it’s real rubber. Also, everyone of them is limited to 15,000, but has no collector number, except the Pickup, which is 6,4xx/7,000 (can’t remember the last digits). If anyone knows why it’s different, let me know!
As you’ll see, they’re easily some of the most detailed Hot Wheels models there ever were. So, let’s commence the photos!

As you could see, Quality Assurance was a real deal with them. There not a single smudge on the paint, all decals are perfectly aligned. It took me several years to get enough spare money complete the collection, but it totally worth the wait.
