[REVIEW] Majorette Peugeot 604

Haven't done a Majorette in awhile. I know a few people have a thing for cleanly styled malaise era Eurobarges, so here's a good one - Majorette 238, the Peugeot 604, 1:60 scale, introduced to the range in 1977:

As per usual for Majorette of this era, this is a thick heavy casting with the signature 3 spoke wheels, and lots of detail, too:

I didn't think to get a detail shot, but it even has the "604" on the hood, nice feature:

Hood opens, to reveal an engine with an air cleaner and 6 bumps I assume represent cylinders:

There's a decent enough interior, too:

Heavy metal base with some data:

I like this casting, as I find the real 604 to be a handsome machine. These were also sold in NA - I remember when I was a kid, an older woman in the neighborhood had one, it seemed very exotic with the "Automatique" badge. Very rare sight on this continent today. The model is also probably uncommon, and looks nice with others from the era.
