[REVIEW] Siku Ford Capri 1700 GT

In my quest to keep things different, here's another unusual model. This is the Siku Ford Capri 1700GT. This casting, number 1021, is from the introduction of the "Super Series", introduced in 1975. This line transitioned Siku from black wheeled cars which appeared kind of stodgy, to racier styles. This casting was made from 1970-1978, the earlier variety with black wheels. It is very 70s, with the wheels and color and window tint:

The Ford Capri (not to be confused with the Fox body Mercury Capri) was hugely popular in Europe and the UK, also sold in the NA during the same era, but wasn't as popular across the pond. Dinky, Corgi, and Matchbox all had castings of the Capri. The real car is fairly rare in the US today. This casting has nice detailing:

Doors open, and there's an interior:

Undercarriage detail typical of Siku of this era:

It's a nice enough casting for the era, I can't recall if these were 1:55 or 1:60, as this is an older casting, I think the latter. These early type wheels seem fairly uncommon. I wouldn't coming across more old Siku.
