Time again for another review, this time an 80s hot (warm?) hatch from Majorette. This is number 212, the Ford Escort XR3, which entered the range in 1983 and was made through 1988. This casting is 1:53 scale, it has a little size and heft to it, typical for old style Majorette with the solid metal base. It's definitely a piece of the 80s:

Not sure if the hood tampo is in reference to something real or imaginary, tow hook is amusing, spoiler provides undoubtedly needed downforce, junk in the hatch area is classic:
