[REVIEW] Tomica Nissan Fairlady 280ZX S130

Sunday is here again, time for another peek into the past. Today we get to examine Tomica # 15, the 1:61 scale model of the popular Nissan 280ZX - or as Tomica labels it, a Fairlady 280Z-T. This would have been badged a Datsun in North America though 1982-83, I think. This casting entered the range in 1979. As usual for the brand, the model features commendably accurate detail and proportion:

The pretty kind of pearl blue paint with silver hood looks good and suits the car well:

My only complaint is that the T-tops are tampo instead of plastic/glass. I know Tomica had other models with glass tops. Interior detail is very nice as expected:

Doors close with that satisfying snap, springy suspension and smooth rolling make driving fun:

Typical of the era, more than adequate base detail:

In sum, an attractive malaise era sport cruiser nicely presented by this beloved brand.
