[REVIEW] Majorette Alitalia Minibus

Sunday again, and again time for something different.

What is also different is that someone here will soon have this model in their possession - as I am including it in my giveway (see this post:

Anyway, on to the model. I found this at a toy show several months ago , in a $2 bin. This is Majorette 262, the "Minibus", introduced to the range in 1979, and made through 1986. This casting claims to be 1:87 (HO Scale), but I am unsure that is accurate, as it seems larger, especially for a "Minibus". Either way, it is an excellent little model, with plenty of detail:

Lots of cool features, like the old 3 spoke wheels, dual sunroofs, and several passengers on board:

Driver is leaning over, must be up to something:

Minimal base detail, not unusual for Majorette of this era:

The model has picked up a few random chips, likely from poor storage, but it presents well. And it could be yours!
