[REVIEW] Tomica Nissan Primera

Tomica time again. Today we see another 90s release I bought new about 20 years ago - I still have a couple of these to go.. This is Tomica 31, the Nissan Primera/Infinti G20. This model entered the range in 1994, and scale is a believable 1:59.

I will be nice and just say I don’t think this is Tomica’s best casting - some details are fine, but the greenhouse is off, especially the C-pillar. This is when the brand really moved away from precise 70s and 80s castings to the softer less exact type we see today:

Some detail is OK, and you really don’t have much choice if you just need a model of this vehicle. You can see I used restraint in superdetailing. Ready to take off:

The box aged well:

It’s a real 90s car, and I am glad I held on to it. A couple more of these era castings to go, then we’ll go back a decade or two and look at some more vintage material.
