[REVIEW] Tomica Renault 5 Turbo

Tomica time is here again, today we get to examine a little gem I am sure everyone will like. This is Tomica F25-2, the Renault 5 Turbo. This casting entered the range in December, 1981, and shows the excellence we associate with Tomica:

Looks good from all angles - this is just a nice fine casting. Scale claims to be 1:58, likely accurate. The tampo is nice and subtle, appears to be relatively correct. Plenty of widebody goodness, nice seats and accurate steering wheel. The racing wheels are perfect here. There were several casts of the Renault 5 back in the day, this has to be among the best. This is so well done, I think one could believe the pics are of a larger scale casting, if they didn’t know otherwise:
