Hey, I needed a title. I visited a big toy store today, and thought some would be interested the selection. I visited “Kurtz” (site here: http://www.spielwaren-kurtz.de/), in old town Stuttgart. It has apparently been in business since the 19th century, and is something of an institution. It is on 5 floors (I think) and has something for everyone - all ages and types of toys. I have visited on every prior trip, as it is a cool place, and I pick up a Steiff for my niece. Here are some pics:

If you like HO, you’re bound to find something:

More, and smaller scale:

Other small scale, and Darda:
If Playmobil or Lego is your thing, they have a small wing for it:
And the RC room - there was a ton more to the left.
I also looked at a Kaufhof, where they had Bburago:

I also visited”Automodell Salon Stuttgart”, (http://www.automodellsalon.de/) but took no pics, as it is kind of a crazy place. Almost like a hoard - the layout is semi-organized, but it is also kind of dusty chaos. They had tons of HO, 1:43, and older (maybe early 00s) 1:18. Nothing vintage, but it was interesting to look.
And I had to get something at Kurtz. A nicely detailed Siku BMW R1200 GS and a Busch HO fintail:
That is all.
