My Foldio 2 arrived the other day, and I assembled it tonight. It’s easy, takes about 2 minutes to get up and running. It’s made of a thin ribbed plastic which flexes. but is held together with magnets, which make it sturdy and are kind of cool to snap together. The LEDs are also cool, with a dimmer. My only minor gripe is the backdrop, which is a coated paper and may not age well, and was difficult to put back in its sleeve. No detailed assembly pics (those can be found online), just a pic of the finished box, and a random Tomica in it. I think I had the light up a bit high as the pics seem kind of washed out, but this is the first trial run:
I just remembered someone wanted to know if it would work with a 1:18 - I forgot to check. I’ll look later. I have 6 more cars I photographed before I got the Foldio, those will be posted first, then it will be my primary photo location from now on. I am satisfied with it.
