Latest unexpected find - Faller slot car set

I am in Canada for a few days, and found something I didn’t expect. I stopped at a vintage toy store, which had a decent amount of old diecast, but nothing I couldn’t live without. I mention I am also looking for toy fintails, and the owner shows me this. Needless to say, I bought it - the price was right:

It’s a Faller slot car set, and the fintail on the cover (also illustrated on the sides of the awesome looking box) looks very much like my car, down to the tires. How could I say no? This set has likely never been played with - everything is still in the cellophane (more pics at a later date). By the cars illustrated in the box, this was likely made between 1963-65.

However - there’s a catch: The cars are missing. Now I need to find a Faller fintail in blue, and a red Kapitan. There are expensive BIN ones on ebay, so I will patiently wait for real auctions. Or, if anyone happens to have 50+ year old German slot cars that they don’t need, let me know - I am sure everyone has several.

That is all.
