Lake City Toy Show Small Hawl

This is literally a small hawl, both in numbers and vehicle size. Today I attended the Lake City Toy Show, which is in the far north part of Seattle, and seems to take place once or twice a year (it doesn’t seem to be as well advertised as the other local show). I managed to find two fintails, both HO scale:

First, a black Praline fintail with flags - I have never seen this variant before:

And a red Lego fintail (yes, that Lego, they made small scale toy vehicles before they made bricks):

The Praline model appears to be mint, while the Lego has suffered suspension failure - I might be able to fix it, and can pretend it is stanced until then. These Lego cars are pretty hard to find, and this one cost me little, so I couldn’t leave it there. A couple more pics just because:

The show itself was packed - this one had a lot of action figure/sci-fi content along with vehicles. If anything, I felt less geeky compared to much of the crowd there :) There was a lot of stuff, tubs of loose diecast to dig through, lots of cheap diecast in cases, tons of cheaper than new late 90s-to-recent material, etc. I am pretty selective as I don’t have infinite space - there wasn’t much quality Lesney content, not a lot of Tomica (and nothing of either I don’t already have), so I had to look close to not walk away empty handed. Not a bad day, a lot cheaper than yesterday

That is all.
