Lesney Matchbox time again, today we examine a popular casting. This is Matchbox 21c, the Commer bottle/milk float/delivery van. This casting entered the range in 1961, and was very popular, remaining until 1968. I am pretty sure someone else has posted one here before. This example is exactly what one would expect from Lesney Matchbox in 1961:
Detail is ample from all angles. There were numerous variations of this casting over its run, probably a dozen or more for decal/window/wheel combinations. This variant, with a light tan bottle load, silver wheels, and these decals, is from the beginning of the production run:

This example is lucky enough to live in its clean original āCā type box. With this and the other details, it was likely produced in 1961:
Although not a rarity, I am still glad to have this - it is a nice example, and I like silver wheeled models. I also remember getting this for a decent price, which makes it even better:
