It’s Saturday, I’ve had enough of the heat here, so I am indoors under the AC for the afternoon, and thought I’d share something offbeat. Today we look at some teeny tiny fintails. I believe these are N scale, 1:160. They are significantly smaller than HO scale. Detail isn’t the most precise, but they are still pretty fun to have around:
I can’t recall who made these, but I think they are old toolings that were made for a long time. They are simple hollow castings, with no glazing or interior, and the wheels are cast with the base, and do not move. I think the white roof ones originally had a black roof, which the prior owner painted white. These are quite small, but have a little detail:
The base is kind of a surprise, with some (albeit kind of weird and not the most accurate) detail:

These have some sentimental value to me, as I think they were given to me maybe 20 years ago by some antique dealer friends of the family, who I saw a lot when I was younger and still visit when I visit my mother. They would show me any old toys they came across in their pickings. The wife of the pair passed away recently, I associate these with them and happy days of old.
