[REVIEW] Tomica Nissan Pulsar Coupe EXA

Tomica time again, today we take a look at a great 80s flashback. This is Tomica 22-3, the Nissan Pulsar Coupe EXA. This casting entered the range in April, 1983, and it is an outstanding period piece:

Scale is claimed to be 1:60, and this appears to be accurate. Detail abounds from all angles, this is a high quality casting. Of course, it has the springy suspension, snappy door action, and crisp glazing we associate with period Tomica. The tampos are also clean and precise. The sunroof is an excellent feature, something Tomica embraced for a few years around this time. This era of Tomica was outstanding, and this car is a perfect representative:

This is another unboxed model I am happy to have in my fleet. This casting was offered in 3 colors - red, black, and blue, and I also have those boxed, for future reviews. I like this casting a lot, it is of very high quality, and I remember these cars a lot when they were relatively new - they were a common fixture in high school parking lots here well into the 90s. This is a very fun piece of the 80s, totally awesome, radical, mint:
