Surprise Saturday: Vintage Diecast in old Christmas catalogs - Part 2

Time again for something different. My Christmas catalog post of a few weeks ago proved to be much more popular than I imagined. I mentioned I had access to a few more at my mother’s house. I was there for Christmas, and snapped some pics. I was going to save these for next year, but why wait? I was able to find 3 old catalogs - Montgomery Ward 1971 and 1972, and the 1958 FAO Schwarz catalog I mentioned earlier. We will begin with Montgomery Ward, 1971.

My choice of 4 (redline) HW for $2.99:

And now back in time to 1958. First stop, diecast with Dinky and Matchbox, including the holy grail 8 car presentation packs:

Tootsietoy and some likely Japanese-made tin vehicles, and a very un-PC bank (although made as an antique reproduction rather than a deliberately offensive item):

These Schuco models are sought after today:

That is all.
