My final review of the day (more coming tomorrow) is another of the “ordinary” cars of the type I have always enjoyed in diecast form. This is Tomica 32-4, the Toyota Corolla sedan. This casting entered the range in October 1983, and is just the kind of car anyone would have seen every day from 1984 onward:
This is from the era when Tomica was into chrome grille/headlight pieces, and the side trim tampo is as accurate as possible. There’s ample fine line casting detail, and proportion looks correct. Scale is a claimed 1:61, likely accurate. This casting features the snappy door action, crisp glazing, and springy suspension we expect and enjoy. From all angles, this is a good representation of a commodity or appliance car your neighbor or parents might have owned back in the day:

As I like models of everyday cars, I am pleased to have this in my collection. This appears to be a somewhat desirable casting, maybe being a “normal” car has added to its popularity:
