Baja Bone-Shaker: Custom

This one started off a little strange. I purchased a Hot Wheels bone-Shaker with every intention to get it as low to the ground a possible. Half way through the modification I accidentally dropped her next to a Toyota trophy truck and seeing the two next to each other got my mind spinning with ‘what ifs?’ I know Hot Wheels already produced an off road version of Bone Shaker but it didn’t really appeal to me. I quickly placed the Bone-Shakers body on the Toyota chassis and realized I liked it too much to go back to a slammed version.

And here is the the third stage... It was a quick mock up. She looked sort of like the ungodly offspring of a rat and a scorpion so I knew there was no looking back.

I could have spent a little more time on this one and made her more detailed but it was just a quick custom I built for fun whilst listening to an audio book of The Man Eaters of Tsavo. I think all the talk of killer lions and hunting rhinos influenced the direction change on this custom. I may come back to her and add some detail work.
