Bluefin: Custom Salt Flat Jag D-type

The customs just keep stacking up. My friend refuses to run by and pick them up. A trip to the Sunday flea market made me the owner of a rather ratty Lesney D-type Jaguar. I decided a Bonneville salt flat Jag would help it fit in with the others as an extra surprise. The wheels sort of found themselves serendipitously outside of the car because nothing quite fit inside. Sort of has a Speed Racer meets lemons look about her. I painted her Ford blue, added headlights, raked the body and gave her a little exhaust treatment. If Vienna Sausages made a race car it would look like this just pink.

I left the guy inside alone other than painting the helmet Red. He has a lot of the old casts history sort of written on him in spatters of paint.
