Last day of hawlin' for me. That's 4 days straight of getting stuff. Today I went to a KMart with hopes of finding the KDay Buick leftover. No luck at all. The pegs were getting pretty empty. They had a MBX 5 pack with a taxi and a limo that I liked but couldn't bring myself to get a 5 pack for. My final stop was to a brand new Walmart that opened last week. I grabbed a couple things but nothing SUPER amazing.
I see this Ground FX a lot. And I always contemplate buying it. Took a dive today because why not. It reminds me of a car from the Ridge Racer video games and is just a genuinely neat casting imo.
I told myself I wouldn't get another 1/64 scale Hero Patrol car after the lackluster fit and finish of a Crown Vic I bought but when I saw this, I just had to have it. There was also a Texas Dept of Safety model of this car but it had chrome 5 spoke wheels and looked more muscle car than police cruiser. I'll get a review up of this and some pics with the crown vic eventually.
I don't usually go for model kits as they're mostly American cars, bigger than what I collect but I saw this and had to have it. So I'll be doing this today and bringing you all a post when it's done.
