Die-cast thoughts: Lesser known cars in the HW and Matchbox lines

First, let me start off my saying I absolutely love the Matchbox 2017 new models. Multiple classics, but oddly enough, I think my favorite is that 1995 Chevy G30, simply for the fact it’s an everyday vehicle, and since it’s Matchbox, it will likely be stock. It also got me thinking about not just the everyday cars, but the lesser known cars, such as these two:

The Vector W8 is an awesome car, but a forgotten one. As for the Edonis, it’s cool, but I don’t know if it even made it into production, because I’ve never seen any pictures or footage of it on the road. Regardless, these more obscure cars are really cool to see from Mattel’s brands.

For me, an obscure car is a car that is typically not well known, but it can just plain forgotten or simply not known in a certain place. How many people in the states do you think know what Skoda is, for instance? And it doesn’t have to be a lesser known brand. The big names probably have some older vehicles that aren’t really well known. While my two biggest wants from Hot Wheels are the Lamborghini Centenario, and, the Aston Martin Vulcan, in general, I would love to see lesser known cars in both the blue and orange brand. Considering how well done is the HW Odyssey, I’d say both brands could also do everyday vehicles pretty well. Even if an HW would be more customized, it would still be cool.

Speaking of lesser known vehicles, I’m not sure if this counts, but I’d love to see this thing in the HW line-up one day:

What do you think? Do you want to see more lesser known and everyday cars from one or both brands? If so, what would you like to see? I’d like to know!
