(I got this and my Tomica Lamborghini Reventon today. Still no Kyosho GT-R, but, I’m glad this and the Reventon came)
So, Ferrari. Probably one of the most well known automobile brands out there. No matter what you think of him, it’s hard to deny that Enzo Ferrari is/was a legend in the automotive world, and, that legend is very much alive. The gorgeous Ferrari 250 series are now some of the most sought after classics out there, easily going for tens of millions at auctions. The Ferrari F40 is arguably one of the greatest Ferraris ever, as it was an amazing car then, and, now. Fast forward to the present day. In the last few years, we have seen cars with insane amounts of power, such as the Hennessy Vemon GT, Koenigsegg One:1, and, more recently, the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Regera. However, Ferrari isn’t no slouch, and, I think the LaFerrari is pretty clear in that regard. To me, it has the looks of a Ferrari, and, the performance of a Ferrari. Sure, it’s not a 1500 horsepower monster, but, the LaFerrari is not a car to underestimate. Maybe kids these days have LaFerraris posters on their wall like some of you who grew up in the late 80s and early 90s had might have had Ferrari F40 posters on your wall!
As for the LaFerrari in 1/64, The Hot Wheels casting met an untimely retirement like all of its brethren. However, I was able to find a Kyosho LaFerrari for a good price from a seller in China(which is not as bad as it is made out to be, at least for me). Mine actually came assembled and repackaged, but, that’s fine. It’s an excellent model of a car that has greatly grown on me. Oh yeah, forgot to mention this is gorgeous in black! There was some glare when taking these, oddly enough.
With my other Kyosho models, and hopefully, the GT-R will join this bunch:

Yeah, so, I absoutely love this model! If you like the LaFerrari, or Ferraris in general, I would suggest looking for one of these, and, maybe some other Ferraris by Kyosho!
