When we last left off the mini was getting its roof shined with NEVR-DULL, in preparation so that it could be taped off when the first layer of primer was applied. Since then I've had some second thoughts on what, exactly, I would like to do with this Mini.

The chrome has proven so shiny and alluring that I've decided to shine up the whole body. I still plan on taping off the roof and stripes but I'd like to use a paint that allows the chrome base to shine through, hopefully giving it a spectraflame-style paint job.

With this in mind it was time for more elbow grease today. The result of my labors so far:

It still needs some more polishing, but next up I plan to tape it up. Does anyone have any suggestions on tape? Or paint for that matter? What color would you like to see the Mini attempt?
