Today we took an epic loop around the state of Oregon. Starting in Portland we followed the Columbia River through the Gorge then down in to Eastern Oregon to see the John Day Fossil Beds and the Painted Hills, then back through Central Oregon over Mt. Hood and back to Portland. It was a family trip and we didn’t need to stop at many places that sold diecasts. But I got lucky at a Fred Meyer in the Gorge with the Caddy (50% off) and then a very rural Safeway I found the Joker VW Bus (discounted 50% as well). We saw lots of cool non-diecast things of course and I remembered to bring the LaLDatsun, so expect another post soon. (Plus some DLM, of course!)
