Greenlight will offer a 1/18 1978 Mustang II Cobra II in a Charlie’s Angels theme. Probably.
Let me just say I know absolutely nothing about this. I can’t find a non-Charlie’s Angels themed version or even the pre-production artwork GL usually releases well before the actual diecast. This just caught my eye because, well, none of my diecasts have a woman sitting on the hood. This is the only shot GL has released. I think I can make out louvres on the rear window, but who knows? Interior? No idea. Is the figure detachable? Could be. What’s the engine detailing like? Your guess is as good as mine. When will it be released? Can’t say this image gives me any clues. I’m not of a generation who has any fondness for a late 70’s Mustang II. In fact, my father (born 1950) only owned American cars up until he had one. After his experiences with the Mustang II, he has only owned Japanese cars since. So there’s that. I’ve never seen the show, either.
