I do love the British Show Wheeler Dealers, but at some time a year or so ago I lost complete track of it. (We downgraded from a DVR). I hadn’t given much thought to ‘Edd getting down with the spanners’ until out of nowhere one day I caught this one:
While Hot Wheels has released the “Packin’ Pacer” intermittently since 1978, jamming a mid-engine with massive chrome pipes out the rear window, this is the most faithful model I’ve seen. It is cool, but still a bit off in ways that aren’t immediately evident.
BTW, on the show, Mike and Edd take a serious bath on this one. So all the more thanks to GL for having the confidence to launch a 1/43!
Finally, tomorrow from Greenlight.....can you resist limited edition air-cooled German cars? Can you?!?
