Yesterday I came across this M2 at Wal-Mart. I thought it was pretty cool and figured that since it was missing the package I might be able to get a discount. I approached a nearby employee stocking and asked what the deal with this was. He said ‘A customer took it’ and claimed they were just leaving it on the shelf at full price. When I asked why someone would do that, he shrugged and said customers ‘are weird’.
I left without buying it.
Can anyone explain why someone would remove the cardboard packaging from an M2, pocket it, and walk out the store? Is there something I’m not seeing?
