but after the paint was stripped... This is the worst oxidation I’ve seen yet.

A little Lime-Away and elbow grease.

The replacement hood fits nicely, but it has scratches.

It fits pretty good to the grill. I had to file down a few imperfections around the hood.

The scratches seem to have repelled the paint. I’ll end up stripping the hood to get rid of them, but I finished painting the car anyway.

I can’t tape off the roof for a day or two, and I need to order some more wheels.

In other news. I tried to fix the dented roof on this old Lesney.

I feel like I did a good job. I can’t believe how close I got the paint color.

The windshield is a bit broken, but it has a dog in the backseat so it was worth the effort.
