Custom Maisto GSXR600

I couldn’t find a scale model of my exact bike in the right color.

I had to get this yellow one.

Time to improvise.

I had to kill the yellow with primer and white.

Three coats of transparent blue ended up looking pretty freaking close.

Once I figured out I could replicate the color I moved on to the wheels.

They’re a hair light on the blue.

But it’s hard to tell with it together. Next up was the exhaust.

I ordered the gold decibel killer to make it rideable.

Then tried to make it.

Not bad.

I have a big box of plastics for the bike so I think I can delete the decals.

We’ll see.
