Yesterday ortoLANparty opened my eye with a company based in Hong Kong that specializes in diecast dioramas (buildings, figures, signs, lights, etc). If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out her post here:

One of many things I want for my diorama is array of figures but not a lot of companies make 1/64 (S scale) figures, the only other company that does is Greenlight but they’re a bit difficult to find. The site ortoLANparty mention in her post offers many figures for different scales, the intriguing part is they also can make figures to your request say if you want miniature of yourself in your diorama.

To me it sounds like a dream come true to have any figure I want made in any scale, but that is easier said than done because in order for this company to make your customized figure, you have to visit them in Hong Kong so they can scan you and go from there.

So this is my question to all fellow LaLDers, does anybody know how to make DIY figures? Or how these figures were manufactured?
