Not much can be said about the fast Acura but judging by the heavily camouflaged front fascia and the entire rear suggest a more aggressive front taking design cues from the recently unveiled NSX GT3 racer with bigger inlets and bigger front splitter to improve downforce.

The heavily disguised rear quarter panel suggest redesigned engine intake for better air flow and cooling to the revised 3.5 liter twin turbocharged V6. The rear end hides a more aggressive diffuser to improve stability and a revised exhaust. A bigger spoiler remains a possibility however its not present on this prototype. Other noticeable difference are the new ultra light alloy wheels with carbon ceramic brakes hiding within them which remains to be determined whether they’ll be standard equipment. The prototype also wears a “hybrid vehicle” sticker on the door confirms the new hot NSX will still keep at least one electric motor to provide smooth and rapid gear shifts. Rumor believes that the NSX Type R will be RWD ditching the two electric motors powering the front wheels to reduce weight and provide a more pure driving experience. According to our spy photographers the interior was also heavily camouflaged suggesting the interior of the NSX Type R will extensively use carbon fiber to further reduce weight. We’ll see what else will surface on the anticipated hardcore NSX in the coming months.

Hope you guys enjoy a little fictional new car spy article done by me, I always secretly wants to write about upcoming new cars for automotive news websites or even a spy photographer. I had to release my 17' NSX post first before this one or else it’ll be a little weird having the car in this post without introducing it first. So this is my actual LaLD car week post and the other one was for fun. Hope you guys enjoy it and I’ll talk to you guys later.
